What's In My Make-up Bag?

As a busy working mum to three boys, my make-up routine is quick and easy. More often than not, I will do the bare minimum just to look more human. Usually in the (stationery) car before school drop off!

On days when I need to make more of an effort, I'll use more products and invest a bit more time but my everyday look stays pretty simple and I don't need to overload my make-up bag.

Like most people, I tend to stick with products I know work well for me although I do like to try out different brands, which I am doing at the moment with the Armani products.

SO WHAT'S IN MY MAKE-UP BAG...

Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation - 4.5

I'm a tinted moisturiser kinda girl and not usually a fan of foundations due to the thicker coverage. However, this amazing foundation is so light I can't feel it and it glides on easily. The coverage is light but buildable and it brightens skin whilst taking down imperfections. It also photographs beautifully.

I.T. Cosmetics - Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer

I love this product. It's highly pigmented and full coverage but very lightweight so it doesn't clog or crease under the eye. It's also waterproof so it stays put all day. A tiny amount goes a long long way.

M.A.C. Studio Conceal and Correct Palette

You can't beat the formulation here and the cheaper imitations really don't match up. You only need a small amount and the creamy consistency blends easily into the skin. I use this to cover any spots that appear before applying some pressed powder over the top to set it in place.

Body Shop Brow & Liner Kit

A product I have used for years, this gives a natural eyebrow finish in minutes.

Collection Clear Mascara

Cheap as chips and does the job. I use this to groom my eyebrows after filling them in with powder and they stay in place all day long.

Giorgio Armani Eye & Brow Maestro - 05 Auburn

I use this on my eyelids as it's so quick and easy to apply. A light cream formulation that you can easily apply with your fingertips in seconds. It gives enough colour to add some definition to my eyes but still looks very neutral.

Giorgio Armani A-blush

Such a pretty product, I love it. A liquid blush that adds a natural looking glow to the skin. You do have to work quickly to blend it in properly but it's easy to apply with your fingertips.

Benefit Bad Gal Bang! Mascara

I change my mascara quite often and like most people, struggle to find one that works continuously. I do like this one as it gives nice definition to my lashes but it does start to clump after a while. It doesn't run though which is a must!

Carmex Cherry Lip Balm

Always in my bag, this moisturising lip balm is all I need to add a natural sheen to my lips and it smells lovely too.
